Lake Superior Farm Fresh Atlas(TM)
The Lake Superior area is one of the last regions of Wisconsin not to be represented by a Farm Fresh Atlas(TM). Across the state, the Farm Fresh Atlases provide a free guide for consumers to find and connect with local food and agricultural products and services. AERC is working now to produce the first ever Lake Superior Farm Fresh Atlas(TM) covering Ashland, Bayfield, Douglas, and Iron counties. Slated for publication in fall of 2011, ten thousand copies of the atlas will be distributed throughout the area where shoppers can pick up a free copy and get familiar with agricultural producers in their neighborhoods.
