2011 Heirloom Variety Trials
AERC is committed to maintaining the genetic diversity of our food crop options. This year we have planted fifty-one varieties of heirloom seed and grain crops. A portion of the harvest will be saved in AERC's seed bank for future generations and a portion will be made available to local farmers and gardeners who can help carry on a piece of agricultural history.
